Description

GLOBTOS WT50-40

Weld/thread ball valve – reduced bore DN50 PN40 | GLOBTOS

A compact welded solution for shut-off installations. The GLOBTOS DN50 PN40 ball valve in the handle-operated, reduced-bore version combines the full tightness of a welded construction with smaller dimensions and lower cost.

Why choose this valve?

Fully welded construction – maximum safety

The one-piece welded body guarantees the highest tightness and eliminates the potential leak points typical of flanged connections. Leakage class A means zero leaks in the closed position.

Compact design

Thanks to the reduced ball diameter, the valve takes up less space and is lighter than the full-bore version. It is the ideal solution where installation space is limited and full bore is not required.

Durable working materials

  • Body: High-quality carbon steel – high strength
  • Ball: High-quality stainless steel – resistance to abrasion and corrosion
  • Stem seals: EPDM + FVMQ
  • Ball seals: PTFE+C – long-lasting tightness at high temperatures
  • Leakage class: A (EN 12266-1)

Applications

  • District heating networks
  • Industrial installations
  • Transmission pipelines
  • Heat and process substations
  • Installations with limited installation space
